Weekend Roundup

Friday:
-Sleep in just a little bit
-Work a half-day, sooo busy!
-Head home
-Chat with sister for awhile
-Start getting ready
-Shower & do hair
-Head out to Dallas
-Have a scare when the car won't start the first 5 times we try!
-Car starts, head to Dallas
-Load-in and head to Angry Dog to meet up with everyone else
-Eat, chat, and work on Misty's camera
-Head back to Club Dada
-Visit with friends and family who came out while we wait for the show to start
-Enjoy Calhoun's show
-Claim my stake to the front & enter spot
-Absorb as much as possible of The Chemistry Set's last performance
-Sing along to old songs, new songs, and favorite songs
-Suffer a broken heart when it's all said and done
-Say thanks to lots of great people for coming out
-Say goodbye to everyone
-Head home
-Have sandwiches and watch Flight Of The Conchords episode
-Finally hit the hay around 4:00 am

Saturday:
-Wake up far too early, 9:40 am, guh
-Watch dvr'd shows and read Frommer's NYC guide
-Text Angie about going shopping
-Watch Everyday Food and Everyday Baking while having coffee
-Lay around awhile longer and call Angie
-Finally get ready
-Go shopping with Angie for some stuff for trip
-Grab some grub at Ocean Rock
-Head home
-Watch movie and goof around on laptop
-Go to bed exhausted from lack of sleep
-Actually have trouble falling asleep despite exhaustion
-Finally slip into dreamland

Sunday:
-Sleep in
-Get up and have some toast
-Shower
-Watch some TV and work on weekly menu plan
-Head to Academy, Target, and Old Navy to finish up shopping
-Eat at Kincaid's Burgers, so good, 1 new restaurant down
-Head home and unload all the goods
-Check the mail
-Watch TV and finish menu and grocery list
-Watch Dancing With The Stars S2, Week 2
-Get in bed

-Dust & tidy bedroom
-Scrub tub & shower doors
-Clean counter & sink
-Tidy living room
-Clean kitchen counters & sink
-Sweep
-Devour Chipotle
-Play Sims and watch movie while Josh is at band practice
-Nighty-nights

Saturday:
-Watch Real Simple and Rick Steves' Europe while enjoying my coffee
-Go shopping with Josh, buying a black tank and these pretty things
-Eat leftover Chipotle while indulging in some Father of The Bride
-Get ready & hit the road
-Stop by Margarita Ranch for Rodney's birthday
-Head to Club Dada to drop off the drums
-Head to Cafe Brazil with Steve, Meri & Cory for some pre-show grub and set list decisions
-Head back to the club for Team Evil, meet up with Spencer, Deb & Ang, then Carissa, then Steph, Rodney, Lisa and Jamie, and then Ryan and Claire- I had a lot of mingling to do!
-Rock out to The Chem Set
-Say adios to most of the peeps and head to the patio to chit chat with Ang, Deb & Spencer
-Hit the road
-Feel not so good once I got home- oh mi estomago!

Sunday:
-A whole lotta nothing while I recuperate from Saturday night!

Why Don't You...

Tomorrow night is the Chemistry Set show and I am super excited! This is the first show since March, as Steve has been busy with his edumacation. We'll be going by Rodney's birthday party before we load in for a quick drink. After load in all Josh's drums we'll probably end up going by Cafe Brazil for some coffee, maybe some delicious rosemary potatoes or a grilled cheese. And, to make the evening even more fun Carissa is coming! We haven't seen her since the wedding, so I am really to get to see her again. And she's bringing her camera, so I've already been planning what I'll wear, in case I'm caught in the background of any of her fabulous photography.
