Weekend Roundup

I was just too tired to do this yesterday. And this is just a Reader's Digest version for me. Note to self: You're not as young as you used to be, and you will pay the price for partying till dawn. But the guys do think you're pretty darn cool now.

Friday:
-Cleaned and reorganized freezer, refrigerator and pantry after seeing this post over at Black Eiffel
-Had a nosh meal with Josh of chips, salsa, queso, and taquitos
-Listened to some Sidney Bechet
-Visited with my bro and niece
-Read and bed

Saturday:
-Walk
-Rock School show at Grapevine Main Street Fest
-Dinner of salad, Nathan's hot dogs, and baked oven fries while listening to Prairie Home Companion
-Get ready
-Sunward show at Club Dada
-Party till the sun is coming up, get mad props from all the guys
-Melt into a pool of sleepiness upon home arrival

Sunday:
-Recuperate from partying, actually feel a lot better than I'd expect
-Read a complete Newsweek issue, finally!
-A lot of Most Evil
-Say goodbye to Josh as he goes off to Radiohead- jerk! :)
-Laundry
-Watch Hannah and Her Sisters
-Shower
-Watch As Time Goes By on PBS
-Read and bed

Friday:
-Work, blech
-Make dinner, panko fish sticks, corn, and salad
-Watch TV
-Play Sims
-Hit the hay

Saturday:
-Up early for farmer's market with Mom, leave disappointed
-Lowe's for Mom's new lawnmower, Target for dishtowels
-Library for new library card
-Home from errands a little after 10
-Walk 1.5 miles
-Tune in to NPR
-Lunch of salad, toast, and orange-mango smoothie
-Clean kitchen, do dishes
-Shower
-Get ready
-Mallapalooza for Johnny Lloyd Rollins show
-Head home and eat some Sonic
-Club Dada for Sunward at the Ultraviolet Cystic Fibrosis Benefit
-Chill with Sunward boys
-Home for Simpsons episode and some fake Cheetos
-Night-night

Sunday:
-Oversleep
-Make meal plan and grocery list
-Grocery shopping
-Unload cargo and help Josh start laundry
-Wash and prep produce
-Prep dinner
-Make Eggplant Bolognese
-Have dinner and salad while watching Fraggle Rock
-Help Josh fold last load of laundry
-Put leftovers in freezer for later meals
-Shower
-Dry hair
-Bedtime

Friday:
-Work, blech
-Head home and check the mail
-Watch a smidge of TV
-Grab Chipotle for dinner
-Eat and watch HGTV
-Turn TV over to Josh for video games
-Watch more TV in bedroom and do a little reading
-Hit the hay

Saturday:
-Drag self out of bed
-Turn in work order on window
-Walk to park and back, bout an hour
-Open windows to keep apartment cool
-Start laundry
-Have cereal & coffee
-Work on week's meal menu and grocery list
-Finish laundry, only 5 loads this week, yeah
-Check mail
-Eat leftover Chipotle
-Grocery shopping
-Shower
-Get ready
-Head to Denton for Sunward show
-Grab some coffee at Jupiter House with Josh
-Hang out with band peoples- Doug, Jerko, Dan, Katie Jo, and Doug
-Say goodnight and load up the drums
-Sing Grand Street Cryers really loudly all the way home
-Stop off at Jack In The Box for late-night sustenance
-Fall asleep watching Arrested Development

Sunday:
-Wake up and lay on couch watching TV
-Have some cereal
-Get ready
-Head to In-Laws for small family lunch
-Visit and eat pizza, share NYC pics, and visit with nephew Griffin
-Go over tax questions and discuss investment ideas with Pop-in-law
-Stop by Central Market on the way home
-Fiddle around on laptop and watch TV
-Make griddle sandwiches for dinner
-Eat and watch The Critic
-Shower
-Lay on bed and watch Easter Parade
-Climb in bed and read a bit
-Go to sleepies
