Weekend Hopes

Here are a few of the things I'm planning, or at least hoping, to find time for this holiday weekend. Happy Fourth!

.Make some Whole Wheat Peach Muffins
.Measure my NYC map for framing
.Do breathing exercises twice
.Do pilates thrice
.Get a Small Time Cooks blog post up
.Finish reading 2 books
.Grocery shopping
.Bit of house cleaning
.Hang out time with Josh
.Hang out time with friends. Possibly a party?

Weekend Roundup

Friday:
-Sleep in
-Get ready
-Head to IKEA
-Make return and do shopping
-Finally make it out after THIRD time through the checkout
-Grab some Chick-fil-a
-Wash new duvet cover
-Put together new file cart while watching half of The Seven Year Itch
-Put new duvet cover on and make bed
-Grab some Sonic for dinner
-Put together storage boxes, fill with books and arrange on shelf while watching Golden Girls
-Reorganize some of the books on shelves
-Bedtime

Saturday:
-Sleep in
-Shower
-Make pancakes and bacon
-Re-pot and water plants
-Caulk hall bathtub and kitchen back splash gaps
-Put posters in new frames while Josh installs Carbon Monoxide detector
-Wrap water heater with insulating blanket
-Get ready and head to Matt & Ashley's
-Dinner at Johnny Carino's
-Fireworks by the reservoir!
-Hang out and get a free facial from Ashley
-Head home late
-Hit the hay

Sunday:
-Sleep in
-Make meal plan and grocery list
-Make muffins and some frozen yogurt to use up leftover foods
-Get ready
-Lowes for trim, hose for front yard, other miscellaneous house stuffs
-Container Store for file folders and desk accessories
-Drop stuff off at house
-Grocery shopping and grab some dinner while there
-Unload cargo and eat
-Check and mark all our breakers
-Install programmable thermostat
-Start organizing office while Josh mows and waters
-Hang posters in the living room
-More work in the office
-Shower
-Nighty-night

Friday:
-Rise and shine
-Cereal and coffee
-A lot of TV
-Get ready
-Head to Matt & Ashley's in Lewisville
-Grab a bite to eat at BJ's- yummy!
-Back to their place to watch the firework
-Long overdue hang out time, talking late into the night
-Home super late, straight to bed

Saturday:
-Oversleep, big time
-Toast and coffee breakfast (lunch?)
-Finish up Newsweek
-Make menu plan and grocery list
-Grocery shopping
-50's music downloading binge
-Clean & prep produce and clean kitchen while jamming to Fats Domino, Little Richard and Eddie Cochran
-Make dinner and eat
-Bit more reading
-Hit the hay

Sunday:
-Sleep in a bit
-Make muffins
-Coffee and muffin breakfast
-Shower
-Shoe shopping for the wedding
-Lunch at Baker Bros.
-Home to chill out to Ricky Nelson and Roy Orbison
-Head to Spencer & Deb's for brauts dinner and hanging out
-Home and bed
-Insomnia, cured by a lot of Newsweek reading

Holiday Weekend

Ah, a nice holiday weekend is just what Josh and I need. I have a few things on my to-do list that I am looking forward to marking off. Hopefully I/we will:

-Spend some time with Matt & Ashley
-Make graham crackers
-Get some big time cleaning done
-Formulate a plan of action for the next few months
-Find shoes for Spencer & Deb's wedding
-Do some other baking
-Grocery shop
